There are several parameters in computed tomography (CT) that affect image quality. Each parameter is influenced by several factors. As CT technology advances, new challenges arise and solutions emerge to effectively and efficiently produce quality images.
After completing this program, the participant will be able to:

2. Discuss the various types of artifacts that affect image quality in CT imaging.
3. Review the advantages of varying window widths and window levels in demonstrating anatomical images in CT.
4. Explain the various techniques that affect spatial resolution on CT images.
